Communication

WOW, Blogger is not something I ever thought I would be doing, but then it made total sense that in today's environment, you must use every means of communication. Communication, it is essential to living.  Without it, how would you know that dinner is ready, or the news of the day, or even to hear (or sign) I LOVE YOU to the most important people in your lives.  And  in this technological world we communicate in a personal way via e-mail, internet, texting, cell phone and blogging, not to mention the good Ol' fashion one on one time!

Someone very close to me taught me an important lesson, "Waste time productively by just being WITH someone".  I invite you today to step away from the PC, cell phone, electronics, and just sit with someone.  Ask them "How are you" and watch their eyes, their body language, the tone of their voice. Then listen, not just hear, but truly listen to them.  Look into their eyes, "waste time productivley" by just being WITH them.  And think about what it would be like for God to do the same with us, nothing else is more important than you and God.  For God it isn't wasting time, it is the best of time!  Enjoy your rainy day, may God's blessings flow in your lives and those you spend time with today!
