If you consider yourself a “regular” here at Oak Ridge, we encourage you to join Realm and you can make your online donation via the “Giving” tab on the left-hand side of the Realm page.

Most gifts to the church come in some form of cash and are gifts to the Ministry Investment Plan (“General Budget”), which forms the foundational giving of the church. Gifts can be conveyed to the church in a number of ways, but we encourage everyone to try online giving. People who have used it so far are very pleased, and it is the most cost effective way to give accurately and quickly.

Online Giving – You can make a gift to the General Budget, or to other ancillary funds, at any time on our secure giving site. To give online, click the "Giving Online" button on this page. On the next page, please follow the instructions for making your online gift.

Checks – Please make checks payable to “Oak Ridge United Methodist Church” or “ORUMC”, and include a note in the memo section if you wish it to apply to something other than the General Budget. Checks should be placed in the collection plate, or mailed/delivered to the church office. You may put your check in a pew envelope if you choose.

Cash – Please use a pew envelope and place envelope in the collection plate. Using the envelope will ensure proper credit to your giving history, as well as to the fund(s) selected.

Non-Cash Gifts – We are always glad to accept gifts of stock and other securities.  The Western North Carolina Foundation assists us with these at no cost.  Please contact them (or have your broker do so) by following these instructions.

Legacy/Endowment Giving – The church works with the Western North Carolina Foundation of the United Methodist Church to manage our endowment giving. Click the Legacy Fund button for more information.
