Christ-like Hospitality
Threads of Love

A group of needle workers who come together to pray for healing, comfort and guidance from Our Lord God for those who will receive our prayer shawls.

Stop by the choir room of Oak Ridge United Methodist Church on any 2nd or 4th Monday and you will see God working through many hands. Yards and yards of yarn, all colors imaginable, are being woven together with prayers and love. At the time the shawl is being made, the recipient is known only to God - someone who might fall ill, need surgery or lose a loved one in the coming days. And when this happens, THE shawl, chosen by God will then be chosen by Ms. Karen who will personally make the delivery. Click here for a video about Threads of Love.
