The mission of the Good Samaritan’s Food Pantry is to hold non-perishable food supplies for distribution to Northwest Guilford families during times of crisis and temporary needs. Oak Ridge United Methodist Church, along with several other churches of various faiths in the Northwest area contribute food items to the Good Samaritan Ministries' Food Pantry each month. The pantry gives away an average of 90-100+ boxes of food monthly. A box is packed with enough food to help feed a family of four for several days.
