Since 2009 Oak Ridge UMC has been sending teams to remote areas of Guatemala to install stoves and water purifiers in homes. The teams (which have thankfully grown to include various churches, college students and individuals) also provide a concrete pad (~100sf) and whitewashed the walls in the kitchen and provided dewormer for families receiving water purifiers.
