† Rehearsals Thursday 7-9pm in the sanctuary
† Two bands (Alpha and Omega) that play alternating Sundays (this is juggled as needed) at Crosswalk (9:45) worship
† Experienced musicians and vocalists with a heart and dedication for leading the body of Christ in worship and praise through music
† Band members serve on a volunteer basis in a bi-weekly rotation (or as needed)
† Instrumentation consists of (but not limited to) drums, bass, keyboards, electric/acoustic guitars, percussion, and bells
† Music content –
· Biblically supported, doctrinally sound
· Contemporary Christian (songs the congregation is hearing on Contemporary Christian radio)
· Easy to sing, congregationally accessible (if you can sing the song after one hearing it’s congregationally accessible)
· Some original music
Our mission is to lift up and glorify God in such a way that we and the congregation are drawn nearer to Him both in relationship and understanding…
“But I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to myself.” John 12:32 (NIV)
† To use quality and relevant praise music that leads people from all walks of life to understand and praise God with us.
† To strive to play and sing music with as much precision as possible, in order to add to and not distract from worship.
† To aspire to offer excellent Music, genuine Adoration, and a compelling Presentation.
· Music – quality music that compels its listener in tone, quality, accuracy, and synchronism with its original composition
· Adoration – true worship that leads its congregation into the presence of the almighty God without drawing attention to itself, but instead reflecting God’s glory through scripture, unified song themes, physical motion, and affective testimony
· Presentation – exciting stage presence that motivates even the most melancholic viewer to nod their head with the band
We welcome anyone who has the heart, talent, and dedication to help us lead worship.
