It's almost Brunswick Stew time!  Mark your calendars for November 13!  This is a very important fundraiser for our church and it requires lots of volunteers to make it a success.

There are many ways that you can ensure the success of this event.  These include providing a portion of an ingredient; making a monetary donation; cooking meat on Friday at home; helping Friday afternoon at the church with potatoes, onions, dishes; helping on Saturday starting at 7am with food prep, food runners, dishwashers, filling cartons, and clean up and stirring the stew; and helping with clean-up after the stew.  Last, but not least, buy lots of stew to freeze for those cold winter nights! The cost is $5.50 per quart; pick up on Saturday at 2:30.  To volunteer or to order stew, contact Evelyn Peoples at 643-4151.
