The bayou has come to Oak Ridge!  Come down to and join in the fun each night of June 21-25 from 6:15 to 8:45.  There is singing, crafts, bible lessons and fun and games.  Here is a small sample of what is happening each night.

Day 1:  God is with us!

Bible Verse:  "God answered, 'I will be with you.'" (Exodus 3:12)

Bible Story:  God Speaks to Moses in a burning bush.  (Exodus 3:1-4:17)

Day 2:  God is powerful!

Bible Verse:  "I will show you that I am the Lord."  (Exodus 7:17)

Bible Story:  God sends plagues on Egypt.  (Exodus 7:1-10:29)

Day 3:  God does what he says he'll do!

Bible Verse:  "The Lord kept His promise."  (Exodus 12:42)

Bible Story:  God spares the Israelites at Passover.  (Exodus 11:1-12:42)

Day 4:  God gives us life!

Bible Verse:  "Don't be afraid!...He is risen from the dead!"  (Matthew 28:5-6)

Bible Story:  Jesus dies and comes back to life.  (Matthew 27:11-28:10)

Day 5:  God cares for us!

Bible Verse:  "Don't be afraid.  Just stand still and watch the Lord rescue you today."

Bible Story:  The Isralelites cross the Red Sea.  (Exodus 14:1-15:21)

Youth Group

The youth group created their own fun and games but there was still a little time for bible study.

It's been a great week!  Now, time to start planning for next year.
