Andy Lambert
Rev. Andy Lambert

Senior Pastor

Andy began his ministry as Senior Pastor at ORUMC in July 2017. His former assignment was as Associate Pastor at Mt. Tabor UMC, which is a large congregation in Winston-Salem, where he served for 4 years. He was the lead preacher for their contemporary service and has had Senior Pastor experience during his career at a couple of different appointments in NC. He was also a "general evangelist" for the Western NC Conference for 12 years. In that role, he traveled extensively sharing his gift for preaching with various congregations and at special events. His wife, Renee, is a 2nd grade teacher. They have two grown daughters (Grace and Joy) and one grandson. Andy is extremely excited about the opportunity to serve ORUMC. He has a very genuine and passionate approach to ministry, a lot of energy, and has focused on “relational evangelism” and outreach within the communities he has served. Andy received his Masters from Duke Divinity School.
