Rev. Susan Mitchell
Susan began serving as Pastor of Adult Discipleship at ORUMC in January 2018. Previously, Susan served as senior pastor of Pleasant Hill UMC and Prospect UMC in Thomasville, N.C. and as associate pastor of First UMC Asheboro, NC. Susan received her Masters of Divinity from Hood Theological Seminary with an emphasis on pastoral ministry and theology. Her passions include preaching, teaching bible studies, planning and leading worship, and being a Mema to her four grandchildren. Susan is married to Rob and they have two children and children-in-love, Alicia and husband Chad Hinton, and Luke and wife Kari.
Responsibilities: Adult Discipleship Classes and Small Groups, Curriculum, Adult Retreat Ministry, Church-wide Studies for consistency and assists in Pastoral Ministries.
