Director of Missional Discipleship

Surrounded by spiritual leaders my inquisitive faith journey began around confirmation. In the years to follow several experiences fostered that relationship in  deeply impactful ways. One being a mother/daughter mission trip to Guatemala. It was late in high school when I discerned I wanted to live my life completely sold out to God's will. As the fullness of God's will and plan is demonstrated in my life, I find that God always shows up!

I spent all of my life in Texas, until attending Asbury Theological Seminary in Kentucky. I was fortunate enough to complete a few credits studying at Jerusalem University College, a brief walk to the old city gates; a very active hub to Israel still today! After graduating with a Master of Arts of Spiritual formation my journey took a 180 when I stumbled, and crashed over the long resisted truth to pursue ordination. My heart for the future of the church grew throughout my time as a Local Licensed Pastor in Texas, leading me to the opportunity to serve in alignment with the vision of ORUMC.

Responsibilities: To make disciples for the transformation of the earth. Through missions we encounter God through one another in service. We grow in our relationship with God because God's love is personified when we love others. "The world will know us by our love." I bring continued structure, drive, and awareness to the established and new missions opportunities of ORUMC. With the future of the church in mind, I'm charged to engage and connect young adults to Mission opportunities with the same directive of discipleship. As this symbiotic work is carried out it will take a team of people invested in the work of God to see this through. It's my responsibility to build those teams and nurture the ministry then carried out.
